Split the firewood not in triangles but in squares. makes for easier sacking and longer burning overnight and easier stacking the wood inside the stove. It is very easy to do with a log splitter. Half the wood then rotate the half to take bites of the squares end.., the pieces end up looking like 2x6's 3x6's or 1x 6's and has made storing stacking so much easier
